COD is good but it doesn’t give the same movie like experience and you don’t need skill to wave a gun around plus it looks cooler and not forgetting AC is educational *wink wink* teachers
Is story important to you? Play one, two and Brotherhood. Its not? You can go straight to Revelations. Forget the guy before me, the summary just doesn’t do Justice. It still enjoyable, if a bit repetitive in gameplay terms.
I started with the second game. much better idea, much more polished. if you want to play the first one after, then go ahead. much better to just look up a summary on the internet for the small bit of good story
the only thing that ruined it was that.. ezio was a better climber than altair before he (ezio) even BECAME an assassin while altair was a master.(you can’t just lose your skills when your rank is lost)… and the other thing is that the guards were just irritating, because no matter where you are they “know your an assassin” and want to KILL you and they ALL just happen to know parkour and are impossible to lose…but i still don’t fully agree with this guy… he exaggerated……
All games are repetitive, this complaint is pretty moot
If you say a game lacks variety I can dig (not this franchise, fortunately), but to say repetitive? How about ditching video games in general? All games are very repetitive
The sequels to this ass are effectively made, this is a franchise you’re best starting with the second than starting with the first

The sequels are really good, nicely polished and lots of well developed fun
I am only just as of recent thinking about delving into the Assassin’s Creed series. If I wanted to skip this one and go straight to part 2 would that be possibly? Or do you fans highly recommend this one first?
i just bought all the games brand new for £45, i never played them before
LonelyIsland spoiled it in one of their songs yet nobody complains about that.
i enjoyed the first one, but i felt it was much too damn repetitive, but the second one is a major improvement and i love it. But like you said, it could be a matter of taste, everybody like different things.

We’ll from what I understand AC series is still repetitive and the combat still sucks like it did in the first game. The main story of desmond is still not interessting and I hear that since they release every year a game that all games are almost the same (minus some tweaks and some new things like tower defense..) So tell me did you hate the first game and love the second? or did you loved all of it.. Because then it just would be a matter of taste..
You are very wrong, play some of the other games in the series and your opinion will be drastically different.

I think this is a really good and honest review.. I played the game and couldn’t stand how repetitive it was.. Because of that I never was interested in another Assasins creed game.. This is definitely one of the most overrated series..
I think if ‘the twist’ is revealed in the first 5 minutes then it’s not a twist.
